To get there you have to go from Ibiza to Sant Josep and direction or Cala Vadella and follow the detour to Cala d’Hort or the road to Es Cubells and take the detour to Cala d’Hort and you will arrive in front of Es Vedr\u00e1 in the same cove or by paths to the esplanade viewpoint of the islet. Port of Ibiza<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3526″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The Port of Ibiza is a fishing, commercial, passenger and sports port in the city of Ibiza, Spain, considered of general interest and managed by Puertos del Estado. The port has, in addition to the docks for merchandise and passengers, with the dike of Botafoch, where the unloading of fuels consumed by the island and the place where the large tourist cruises that come to it are moored. It also has several sports docks with a total of 1,400 moorings for recreational boats<\/p>\n

Since the Carthaginians founded a colony in the year 650 a. c., they converted the port into an important naval base of their navy. The Romans made Ibiza federated city and maintained the flourishing commercial activity that already had under the Carthaginian domination. In the seventeenth century there were already buildings for port purposes and a dock in the area of \u200b\u200bArrabal.<\/p>\n

The current facilities date from the beginning of the 20th century, with the construction of the breakwater that provides protection to the southern area of \u200b\u200bthe port.
